Here is the 2014 Simsbury Leaf PickUp Schedule
TOWN OF SIMSBURY - LEAF PICKUP SCHEDULE, 2014
As we have done in past, the Town of Simsbury will provide our annual LEAF PICK-UP PROGRAM.
LEAVES ONLY, BAGGED in BIODEGRADABLE BROWN PAPER BAGS left at the edge of the
road will be picked up on the scheduled day, beginning Wednesday, November 12th at 7:00 a.m. Bags
that are not brown biodegradable paper or bags that contain material other than leaves will not be picked
up. This pick-up is not intended to get 100% of the leaves that will fall; it is meant to take the bulk of the
leaves. Residents as well as contractors hired by a resident can dispose of leaves at the Wolcott Road
landfill for free – no permit required. If for any reason the leaves are not picked up on the scheduled day,
they should be picked up the next workday. Leaves put at the curb after the date scheduled will not be
picked up. Visit the Public Works Department at www.simsbury-ct.gov to view the schedule and map.
